When the Audi A1 was launched in 2018, Max knew one thing immediately: “This is my dream car!”. A dream that the mechanical engineering student made come true in 2019. He went for the version with the two-liter TFSI with 200 horsepower. But the brand new Audi A1 with the internal code GB did not remain in production condition for too long. Max did not leave one stone on another. Among other things, he mounted a sportier body kit and 18-inch matt bronze rims in combination with wheel spacers of 8 mm in the front and 20 mm in the rear. Originally, sports springs with the standard shock absorbers were to provide adequate lowering. That looked good. But the drivability of the tuned Audi A1 suffered. “The combination didn’t fit together, so that there were unpleasant shocks, especially on uneven roads,” reports Max.
