World premiere of our BILSTEIN EVO Performance Line

The Essen Motor Show is traditionally an event for the tuning and motorsport scene to say goodbye and take leave for the winter break, the same as every year. This time we celebrated the end of the season with a big bang: In Essen we presented our brand new BILSTEIN EVO Performance Line for the first time, which will be launched in 2020.

As expected, the show in the heart of the Ruhr region proved to be the right place to present our entire aftermarket range this year. Once again, the motorsport enthusiasts were crazy about the latest trends and products: More than 360,000 visitors came to the Essen Motor Show from 30 November to 8 December.

Themed “The Evolution of Performance”, we presented four extremely eye-catching sports cars at our stand. Probably the most striking eye-catcher was our new BMW 3 Series (G20) with spectacular EVO foiling equipped with the brand new BILSTEIN EVO R coilover suspension. This doesn’t just give the BMW an outstanding, super-deep appearance, the spearhead of our new EVO Performance Line is also an absolute hit in terms of driving dynamics.

We dedicated a separate area to our new threaded suspension range, where interested visitors were able to be persuaded by the BILSTEIN EVO S, the EVO SE and the EVO R. Our BILSTEIN experts were on hand to answer all your questions about the new EVO Performance Line and the well-known portfolio of our street performance, off-road and motorsport products.

Other stars at our stand included the new Porsche 911 (992), which comes with BILSTEIN suspension as standard, an Audi A3 with BILSTEIN B16 suspension and discreet foil trim by EightEleven Design, as well as a less discreet eye-catcher. The Mercedes-AMG GTR Pro “Bastard” from TIKT Performance relies on a BILSTEIN 2-way MDS coil-over suspension and an engine output of 760 hp according to its status.

To give people a chance to cool down after such hot rods, we treated all visitors who took part in our survey with ice cream in BILSTEIN colours – a service that was gladly accepted by our fans and visitors.

The Essen Motor Show in 2019 was a great opportunity for us to present our products again and talk shop with the scene. While the tuning and motorsport scene says goodbye for its well-deserved winter break, we are already rolling up our sleeves: 2020 will be an exciting year.
